We are a family run, totally independent property letting agency, with no ties to any building society or other institution. Property letting and management is our core activity, not a sideline, and we devote all of our energy and expertise to satisfying the requirements of letting and rental clients.
We look to match tenants to properties where their personal circumstances best meet the landlords requirements. We are fully aware of the importance of appropriate tenant vetting prior to accepting tenants for our clients’ properties. In this respect we use the highly regarded Homelet tenant referencing services when vetting suitability of potential tenants.
Landlord Accreditation
We work closely with the Rochdale Landlord Accreditation Scheme. Several of our properties are accredited by the Local Authority and a number meet the Good Homes Standard set by the government. An Accredited Landlord is recognised as a landlord of good standing and whose properties have appropriate gas safety certification etc.
At the end of 2008, properties will need an NICEIC certificate for electrical safety and by October 2008, new tenancies will need an energy efficiency certificate, as per the HIPS.
